On Thursday the key Indian equity market indices opened higher after taking cues from global market. The Sensex of the BSE which opened higher at 31,351.53 points it was closed on Wednesday at 31,351.53 points. The minutes are trading, was quoting at 31,370.11 points, up by 86.47 points, or 0.28%.
On the NSE, the broader 51-scrip Nifty, is up by 19.70 points or 0.20%, which has closed at 9,633.60 points was quoting at 9,653.30 points.
The Indian equity market faced a volatile day on Wednesday and it was as flat to negative notes as a negative global cues, metal and oil and gas stocks subdued investors’ sentiments, outflow of funds and heavy selling pressure in an automobile.
On Thursday, the market showing a positive trend. the Hang Seng was up by 0.55%, South Korea’s Kospi was also up by 0.31%, while Japan’s Nikkei 225 was trading in green, China’s Shanghai Composite index was quoted in green and up by 0.62%.
The FTSE 100 was down by 0.33% and Nasdaq closed in green up by 0.74% at the closing on Wednesday.
